Glamping in Cornwall

Fantastic experience, especially for my 8 & 11 year old kids. They loved the bus and were shattered every evening 👍. The camp is nicely set up with loads of space for running around. Nice and close to Rock and Polzeath with plenty to do especially with excellent recommendations from Will and Ed. Highly recommended. Thanks guys!”

You’ll be glamping on one of our famous American school buses. Designed to feel like a cosy ski chalet with reclaimed palette wood, faux fur throws and comfortable beds and cooking facilities on each.

The buses will be parked just 2 miles from Polzeath beach, with access to showers and toilets on site. We imagine you will spend most of the day at the beach or exploring the local areas of Rock, Padstow or Polzeath, but when back at the bus you can enjoy the famous Cornish sunset around the BBQ.

This is a truly magical experience which you’ll remember forever.

Surf Lessons

While you are there, we will be offering the opportunity to book surfing via the legends at Wavehunters who own a surf school on the beautiful Polzeath Beach, one of the safest and most reliable surf spots in Cornwall. They run two hour group lessons at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm every day, led by their experienced and friendly instructors. Professional photographers will be on-hand to capture your surfing triumphs - and your classic wipe-outs!

They also offer stand-up paddle-boarding which is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world. It’s a super-accessible sport that gets you out on the ocean in no time, building your core strength and fitness, and whilst it’s easy to learn, it offers adventures to last a lifetime. This surf school is one of the first in the UK to teach SUP-ing, so whether it’s relaxation or exhilaration you’re seeking, we can get your SUP adventure started now!

Boat Trips

Whether you are a first-time or experienced sailor, Wavehunters’ boat trips take you along Cornwalls unique coastline to look for a stunning array of wildlife. This may include puffins, peregrine falcons, seals, minke whale, jellyfish and the firm favourite… dolphins! On beautiful sunny days when the ocean is crystal clear you may spot lobsters crawling along the ocean bed in the shallow waters of sea caves. Departing from Rock or Padstow, the skippers will take you along the Camel Estuary and out onto the Atlantic. This memorable journey offers views of Daymer Bay, Polzeath Beach, the Rumps, Pentire Head and Mouls Island.

Location

One of the best areas in Cornwall. Only a 10 minute ferry from the beautiful town of Padstow or 5 minute walk to Rock which is referred to as Britain’s Saint Tropez. Our buses will spend the summer 2 miles from the huge, sandy Polzeath Beach, parked on Trefresa Farm. Use PL27 6NF for the sat-nav and follow our characters along the path.
